General Terms and Conditions applicable to Use of a Web Site.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.

  • Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.
  • We will collect and use of personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.
  • We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.

We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.

Client Hosting Terms and Conditions

1. Hosting account invoices will be sent 1 month in advance this gives you plenty of time to arrange payment through BACS or cheque. Failure to pay your invoice on the date given in your invoice will result in;

  • Late payment will result in a 7 day suspension of your website, we will remove your website files and only reactivate your website once payment is received in full.
  • If you fail to pay your account we will revoke our services, as such we will retain the domain name which you can purchased back from us. Except in cases when the domain was transferred from a clients previous account.

2.  We now operate a 30 day cancellation period, if within the first 30 days of payment you decide you no longer wish to host your website with us you will receive your yearly fee in full. However, after this period we can not offer a refund even if you no longer wish to host your website with us.

3. If you decide to move hosts during your contract as stated above we can not offer full or partial refunds outside of the 30 day period. Along side this the following charges will apply;

  • Domain transfers are charged at £15.00 for us to release your domain name for transfer we need to have received this payment in full before we will release your domain.
  • To gain full access to your website files to transfer for you to upload via ftp the price is £25.00. If you require us to upload your website files onto your new server we can provide you with a quote for this. 

4. Apcore reserves the right to revoke your hosting services without advanced notice on the following grounds;

  • Copyright infringement
  • Unsuitable materials such as pornography
  • Abusive or racist information to encourage racial hate
  • If a client is abusive or rude to our staff or acts in a manner which deems the business relationship and communication as broken down

5. Domains are now registered in our clients name and address however, all domains are registered with our business e-mail this is to ensure we can keep a track of domain renewals. If you have an old domain with us and we have not updated it to your details please get in touch with us.

6. Domain renewals, if we are transferring your domain to our account there is an £8.00 charge for .co.uk and £10.00 for .com It is the responsibility of the client to pay any renewal fees on a transferred domain. Free .co.uk domains apply to new clients with new domains only.

7. In the event of cancelation of your hosting please give 7 days notice in writing so you are not subject to further charges.

8. In the event of domain renewals, 6 weeks notice is given to all clients, those who do not wish to renew their domains must give the minimum of 3 weeks notice in writing to, Apcore Creative Media, 10 laceys avenue, leverton, boston, lincs, PE22 0BG
